The Kaiflex RT-KKplus s1/s2 pipe support wasn’t only developed for pipe mounting and to avoid cold bridges and resulting energy losses, but also to meet the special demands of fire risk areas: It consists of two highly compression-resistant, load-bearing PIR foam bearing segments embedded in a closed-cell rubber insulation and coated with impermeable glass fibre weave, and on one side with additional exfoliated graphite (INCERAM Cladding). Kaiflex RT-KKplus s1/s2 meets Euroclass BL-s1, d0, and Euroclass BL-s2 when used with Kaiflex KKplus s2 tubes, and is ideally suited for heightened fire protection demands for indoor and outdoor use in HVAC and cold-water applications, as well as in industrial applications such as in the food industry and marine sector.
Insulation systems from a single source
Dimensioned for the tubes and sheets of the Kaiflex KKplus s1 and s2 insulation systems, Kaiflex RT-KKplus s1/s2 pipe support is the ideal complement to this product line. It makes a change of material or manufacturer superfluous, and provides complete insulation from a single source. The thermal decoupling of steel / copper / stainless-steel pipes from the pipe clamps reliably prevents the formation of condensation and thus pipe corrosion. This makes product changes, and pipe mountings as weak points in pipework insulation, things of the past.
Easy installation
Kaiflex RT-KKplus s1/s2 is very easy to install: The pipe support is closed by a tongue-and-groove closure. A tape overlap seals off the seam from the outside, guaranteeing full coverage. This provides safety and results in very high sealing against water vapour diffusion. Kaiflex RT-KKplus s1/s2 is also available in handy sets consisting of pipe clamp and pipe support.
The Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) makes the ecological assessment of the insulation materials even more transparent, which is how Kaimann supports the planning and certification of sustainable buildings.
