Kaiflex Solar EPDMplus 2in2 efficiently connects solar collectors, photothermal modules or heat pumps to the heat storage tank. At the same time, it minimises energy losses and keeps solar-heated water hot for longer. This is made possible by two flexible corrugated stainless steel pipes (VA) marked for supply and return flow, and already fitted with temperature and UV-resistant EPDM pipe insulation.
The insulation material is co-extruded with a coating foil that provides lasting protection from mechanical damage by outside weather effects. That makes this Kaimann product particularly robust. Thanks to its good thermal conductivity of λ40°C ≤0.042 W/(m·K) and high temperature resistance of +150 °C (+175 °C), Kaiflex Solar EPDMplus 2in2 is suitable for outdoor use.

Kaiflex Solar EPDMplus 2in2 covers the temperature range between +150 °C and –50 °C. Regardless of the ambient temperature, the closed-cell synthetic rubber insulation retains its flexibility and full functionality, without melting or hardening as is the case with many other types of insulation. This ensures reliable insulation performance over the entire operational life of the system.
Simple to use
For correct connection to the heating system, the supply and return lines are marked by high-temperature-resistant sensor wires. The pre-insulated pipes can be separated easily, and doing so does not damage the insulation material in any way. Kaiflex Solar EPDMplus 2in2 is also particularly suitable for and easy to use in renovations.
Extensive accessories for metallic and flat sealing threaded connections, for installation and mounting, and Kaiflex special EPDM adhesive make the pipes fast and easy to install.
