Halogen-free applications

Whether in the ship or rail sector, at airports or in hospitals: In particularly fire-sensitive areas where people are present and machines are in use, the development of toxic gases in the event of fire poses a particularly high risk. Free of PVC, chlorides and brominated flame retardants, halogen-free insulation materials from Kaimann are particularly suitable for use in industrial and special applications and are therefore becoming increasingly important in technical insulation.
In the food and pharmaceutical industries, where equipment with stainless steel pipes is often installed, the halogen-free elastomeric insulation materials also prevent stress corrosion. Another advantage is that, thanks to its halogen-free nature, the insulation material can also be used in sustainable construction projects in accordance with green building standards. Depending on the configuration, it complies with common standards such as BREEAM, DGNB and LEED.
