Kaiflex Solar 2in2 NET efficiently connects solar collectors to the heat storage tank. At the same time, it minimises energy losses and keeps service water hot for longer. This is made possible by two flexible corrugated stainless steel pipes already fitted with temperature and UV-resistant EPDM tube insulation.

The robust fabric covering protects the insulation material from mechanical stress and, thanks to its textured surface, can be plastered directly, making additional reinforcement unnecessary. Bending radii from 25 mm (depending on the dimension) enable space-saving and flexible installation – even in confined spaces or angled installation situations. An integrated rubber component additionally covers the joints of the insulation where two pipe sections are connected, ensuring a uniform and clean appearance. This makes the Kaimann product particularly robust and installation-friendly. Thanks to its good thermal conductivity of λ40°C ≤0.042 W/(m·K) and high temperature resistance of +150 °C, Kaiflex Solar 2in2 NET is suitable for outdoor use.

Solar modules are incredibly efficient at absorbing solar energy. Under the right conditions, the temperature of the glycol-water mixture flowing through the module can reach more than +150 °C. Kaiflex Solar EPDMplus 2in2 covers the temperature range between +150°C and –50°C.  Regardless of the ambient temperature, the closed-cell synthetic rubber insulation retains its flexibility and full functionality, without melting or hardening as is the case with many other types of insulation. This durability ensures reliable insulation performance over the entire operational life of the system. 

Installation-friendly in every phase 

Kaiflex Solar 2in2 NET is designed for consistently efficient use – from removal to final fastening.  The pre-insulated stainless steel corrugated pipes can be cut and laid without special tools, while coloured seams on the fabric jacket allow clear identification of flow and return, ensuring an organised installation. Factory-sealed pipe ends reduce the ingress of dirt during installation. In addition, the textured fabric surface allows for easy further handling. The system also offers flexible fastening options: screwing or nailing to the web is possible without the need for special pipe clamps.  Kaiflex Solar 2in2 NET is also particularly suitable for and easy to use in renovations. Furthermore, the tube package contains integrated sensor cables, which allow the sensors to be conveniently connected to the heating system control unit.

Suitable accessories for installation and fastening, such as flat-sealing connections, special clamps and Kaiflex Special Adhesive EPDM, enable quick and secure installation.
