Product benefits
The pipe mountings are frequently a weak point in insulation of pipework. Full-coverage must be ensured in order to avoid cold bridges and the associated energy losses. The purpose-developed Kaiflex RT-KKplus pipe support achieves the thermal decoupling of steel/copper/stainless-steel pipes from the pipe clamps, hindering the formation of condensation and thus pipe corrosion.
Consisting of two highly compression-resistant, load-bearing PIR foam bearing segments embedded in a closed-cell synthetic rubber insulation and covered with a tough, impermeable PVC film, Kaiflex RT-KKplus combined with Kaiflex KKplus s2 tubes meets Euroclass BL-s3, d0. The pipe supports can be used indoors and out for HVAC and cold water applications, and in industrial applications, such as in the food industry and maritime sector.
Insulation in a system
Kaiflex RT-KKplus is the right product line extension for Kaiflex KKplus s2 insulation. The pipe support is offered in increasing insulation thicknesses and dimensioned for Kaiflex KKplus s2 tubes and sheets. Changing the product is thus unnecessary.
The self-adhesive connections of Kaiflex RT-KKplus make installation fast and easy, and provide safety and very high sealing against water vapour diffusion: the shells are placed around the pipe, and connected at the contact surfaces with the aid of the self-adhesive coating. A tape overlap seals off the seam from the outside, guaranteeing full coverage. Kaiflex RT-KKplus is also available in practical sets consisting of pipe clamp and pipe support.
The Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) makes the ecological assessment of the insulation materials even more transparent, which is how Kaimann supports the planning and certification of sustainable buildings.
