The Kaiflex RT-ST pipe support is the ideal product line extension for the all-purpose Kaiflex ST insulation material. Dimensioned to fit the broad product range of Kaiflex ST tubes and sheets, it provides an insulation system that can be used on projects of any scale, without needing to change materials or manufacturers.
Consisting of two highly compression-resistant, load-bearing PIR foam bearing segments embedded in a closed-cell rubber insulation and covered with a tough, impermeable PVC film, Kaiflex RT-ST combined with Kaiflex ST tubes meets Euroclass BL-s3, d0. The pipe support is suited for indoor and outdoor use in HVAC and cold-water applications, as well as for industry applications such as in the food industry and marine sector.
In all these areas, Kaiflex RT-ST ensures full-coverage insulation, avoiding cold bridges and the associated energy losses. The thermal decoupling of steel / copper / stainless-steel pipes from the clamps of the pipe support prevents the formation of condensation and thus corrosion damage. This makes product changes, and pipe mountings as weak points in pipework insulation, things of the past.
Insulation in a system
Kaiflex RT-ST is very easy to install: The connections are closed with a tongue-and-groove closure. An overlap tape seals off the seam from the outside, guaranteeing full coverage. This ensures safety and very high water vapour diffusion sealing.
The Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) makes the ecological assessment of the insulation materials even more transparent, which is how Kaimann supports the planning and certification of sustainable buildings.
