Kaiflex HF. Free from halogens

Kaiflex HF
Free of halogens

Benefits & Attributes
Kaiflex HF is a flexible, closed-cell insulation material which is halogen-free and therefore free of chlorine, bromine and PVC.

Kaiflex HF prevents condensation and reduces energy losses in the long term. Its closed-cell structure provides a long-lasting water vapour barrier to efficiently prevent vapour escaping and guarantees reliable insulating performance over the entire operational life of the system.

By being free of halogen, Kaiflex HF is suitable for use in a variety of special applications such as in shipbuilding or in rail vehicles etc. It also reduces the risk of stress corrosion when used on stainless steel pipes.

  • Halogen free (chlorine, bromine and PVC free)
  • Reduction of the risk of stress corrosion when used on stainless steel pipes
  • Good thermal efficiency, λ ≤ 0.037 W/(m·K) at 0°C
  • Reliable long-term performance
