Mario Villa follows in the footsteps of Marco Campanelli
Changes at the top at Kaimann Italia: After many successful years as Managing Director at Kaimann Italia, Marco Campanelli will retire at the end of 2018. His successor will be Mario Villa, who took up his position as Sales & Marketing Manager at Kaimann on 18 September 2017. Marco Campanelli will work alongside his successor in his new position over several months and hand over overall responsibility of Kaimann Italia to Mario Villa by the end of 2018.
A trained chemical engineer, Mario Villa has many years of experience in the field of quality assurance as well as in the technical management of the process industry, ship-building, petrochemical, oil and gas market sectors. He was most recently Head of Testing Laboratory for an internationally active component manufacturer within the mechanical industry, and before that Technical Manager at one of the world’s leading insulation manufacturers. Among other things, he was responsible for the coordination of Italian trading activities and marketing communications. Having joined Kaimann Italia in September 2017 as Sales and Marketing Manager, Mario Villa will assume overall responsibility of the Kaimann location in Italy from 1 January 2019 as Managing Director.
“We have been planning the change at the top of our Italian location for a long time,” emphasises CEO and owner of Kaimann GmbH Georg Josef (Jürgen) Kaimann. “We have found a professional with broad industry expertise in Mario Villa, who will successfully lead our Italian subsidiary as the successor to Marco Campanelli. In addition to a very trustworthy personality, he also brings his overarching view of the customer, market, application areas, cost management and leadership which is essential when taking overall responsibility. So we are also well prepared for any challenges ahead in Italy. I very much look forward to this new working relationship and wish Mario Villa every success in his new position.
I would also like to thank Marco Campanelli, who will continue to support him professionally for more than a year before he retires. He has led the team of Kaimann Italia in a very entrepreneurial and customer-oriented manner and will pass on a wealth of valuable experience and expertise to his successor.”
